Job Title: Finance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading financial operations and driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and supporting reconciliations.
  • Oversee and authorise bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and authorise sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with year-end accounts preparation and support the annual audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Authorise bank payments and manage overheads, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.
  • Handle day-to-day cash flow management, ensuring liquidity and financial stability.
  • Manage the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Submit monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to the management team, ensuring informed decision-making.
  • Conduct regular team meetings and performance reviews, ensuring team development and growth.
  • Identify and report financial risks to Senior Management, ensuring proactive risk management.

Requirements:

  • Relevant accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in managing an accounting team or department.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.
  • Knowledge and experience in payroll management.
  • Expertise in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting practices.
