Job Title: Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team at The Recruitment Group. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading financial operations and driving financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly management accounts and supporting reconciliations.
  • Oversee and authorise bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Monitor and authorise sales and purchase ledgers, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist with year-end accounts preparation and support the annual audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Authorise bank payments and manage overheads, ensuring efficient and effective financial management.
  • Handle day-to-day cash flow management, ensuring liquidity and cash flow forecasting.
  • Manage the annual budget process, working closely with senior management to set financial targets and objectives.
  • Submit monthly/quarterly returns to HMRC, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Provide regular financial reports and updates to the management team, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Requirements:

  • Hold an AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification in accounting or finance.
  • Have proven experience in managing an accounting team or department, with a strong track record of financial management and leadership.
  • Be proficient in Excel and financial reporting, with the ability to analyse and interpret complex financial data.
  • Have knowledge and experience in payroll management, with the ability to manage and administer payroll processes.
  • Be an expert in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual accounting practices, with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
