Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
Salary: Up to £45,000
Location: Not Specified
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 8.30am-5pm
Purpose of the Role
The Financial Operations Manager will be responsible for leading financial operations and maintaining accuracy in the accounts team. They will communicate effectively with the directors and chairman.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and reconciliations.
- Review control account reconciliations and profit and loss analysis.
- Oversee bank reconciliations and sales/purchase ledgers.
- Assist with year-end accounts and audit support.
- Manage cash flow, budget process, and HMRC returns.
- Provide reports to the management team and conduct performance reviews.
- Identify and report risks to Senior Management.
- Negotiate company insurances.
Requirements:
- AAT, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification.
- Experience in managing an accounting team.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of payroll management and accounting practices.
