Midwifery Education Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced midwifery professional to join our team as a Midwifery Education Lead. The successful candidate will have a strong background in education and training, with a proven track record of developing and delivering high-quality educational programs across an organisation.

The role will involve strategically managing and enriching the integrated education and training plan across the maternity division. This will include identifying gaps in education provision, developing new programs, and ensuring local and national service objectives are included within the local maternity education strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the implementation of the Three Year Delivery Plan for Maternity and Neonatal Services ensuring the Trust meets the minimum standards in the refreshed CCFv2.
  • Ensure quality assurance and monitoring processes are in place to ensure that the training is appropriate and following all national guidance.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the National Policy context for Midwifery practice and development and Maternity Transformation and Governance Framework.

About You:

  • Registered midwife with post registration experience and a Degree in related field.
  • Mentorship / teaching qualification.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Salary Information:

$75,000 - $90,000 per annum depending on experience, plus benefits package.
