About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class C Driver to join our Refuse and Recycling team in Stockport. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste and recyclables across the Borough.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including refuse and recycling collection trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues to the maintenance team.
  • Work collaboratively with your crew to deliver a high-quality service to our residents.
  • Follow work instructions and procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
