About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Class C Driver to join our Refuse and Recycling team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient collection of waste and recyclables across the Borough of Stockport.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a variety of vehicles, including refuse and recycling collection trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and report any defects or issues to the relevant authorities.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve high recycling rates and provide excellent customer service.
  • Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure that all necessary documentation is up to date.
  • Follow work instructions and adhere to all health and safety protocols.
