Overview

The Commercial Graduate role at Bupa is a strategic development position that supports the company's global '3x6 Strategy' by providing analysis and communications to internal stakeholders. This role is designed to develop strategic problem-solving, analysis, and communications skills in collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-create problem statements and issues trees to frame strategic problems
  • Jointly develop prioritization frameworks and complete preliminary interviews and analysis to identify the highest value strategic drivers for deeper analysis
  • Create analysis plans and complete structured analysis
  • Develop first draft insights and recommendations to support decision-making, and work with key strategy leaders and buddies to iterate on initial insights
  • Support the development of key documents for the Bupa APAC annual strategic planning process, in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Coordinate the development of APAC papers and presentations for key executive forums
  • Manage and prioritize an active task list (also called a 'backlog') and escalate key issues early
  • Engage with business stakeholders to gather insights and build a relationship as a trusted strategy advisor
  • Be a customer-obsessed team member that frequently reviews customer verbatims and NPS reports
  • Champion innovation, customer-centricity, and sustainability

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (business/economics/finance or equivalent) with outstanding academic record (Distinction average or higher preferred)
  • Professional work experience during university studies
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong written presentation skills and the ability to convert data into insight and prepare compelling, persuasive reports and presentations
  • Possess quantitative, analytical, and conceptual problem-solving skills
  • Possess structured thinking and commercial acumen
  • Demonstrated drive, ambition, and intellectual curiosity for the healthcare industry
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders including technical and functional specialists, operational and line managers
  • Able to work across simultaneous assignments efficiently, accurately, and at pace
