Job Opportunity: Assembly Technician

We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our client's manufacturing team in Mansfield/Newark. The successful candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical assembly, with a focus on quality and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble and fit out products, including electrical and plumbing components, to meet customer requirements and project schedules.
  2. Prepare and pack equipment for delivery, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  3. Maintain a safe, tidy, and organized workshop area, managing stock levels and adhering to health and safety protocols.
  4. Conduct quality checks and testing of equipment prior to delivery, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  5. Collaborate with the accounts administrator to track deliveries and manage inventory.

Requirements:
  1. BTEC Level 3 or equivalent electrical engineering qualification, with relevant work experience.
  2. Proficiency in basic Microsoft packages, including Word and Excel.
  3. Forklift truck operation qualification preferred, with training provided for the right candidate.
  4. Knowledge of workshop/manufacturing level Health & Safety, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
