As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, personal, and effective care to patients referred to our service.

Our team is comprised of advanced practitioners, acute care team practitioners, vascular access practitioners, and healthcare assistants with diverse experiences and skill sets. We are looking for a team member who can complement our current workforce and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

* Venepuncture and cannulation
* Male/female catheterization
* Attending and supporting patients with deteriorating conditions
* Working alongside the vascular access practitioner
* Supporting the delivery of formal and informal education to staff

Requirements:

* Basic numeracy and literacy skills
* HCA training day
* Willingness to undertake further training
* Previous experience working in an acute healthcare setting
* Proven ability to manage priorities under pressure
* Proven ability to understand and comply with detailed procedures
* Cannulation skills
* Venepuncture
