Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Asset Planning Engineer to join our team at Andrew Construction Limited, where you will play a critical role in driving business success through strategic land acquisition and development.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a motivated professional to develop and execute plans for acquiring land opportunities within a specified geographical area. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the planning system, including technical aspects related to land acquisition and development, as well as legal agreements.

Key Responsibilities
  • BUILD Strong Relationships: Establish and maintain effective working relationships with local authorities, agents, landowners, housing associations, and consultants.
  • DEVELOP Expertise: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the planning system, working closely with internal teams and external experts.
  • ACQUIRE LAND: Independently identify and acquire land opportunities within a specified geographical area, leveraging previous experience with local Planning Authorities.
  • Negotiate Agreements: Collaborate with internal departments to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and adherence to contractual obligations.

We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £85,000 per annum, based on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that includes a generous pension scheme, life assurance, and 25 days annual leave.
