Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate facilities contracts and contractors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Develop and implement facilities-based projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Support the Facilities Manager in procurement and delivery of services, contracts, and projects.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for specialist service providers and contractors.
  • Maintain safe working practices and environments for personnel, contractors, and visitors.
  • Prepare and review RAMs and qualifications prior to contractor works.
  • Deputize for the Facilities Manager during periods of annual leave, sickness, etc.
  • Review and action facilities work orders (MOPs) and obtain quotes, raise orders, and deliver solutions to site.
  • Conduct site inductions for new contractors and service providers.
  • Provide reception cover and holiday cover for all days.
  • Assist in meeting room and site setup for visitors, events, and functions.
  • Participate in the site emergency response team (ERT).
  • Complete and be responsible for weekly and monthly compliance checks.
  • Perform monthly meter readings and site walk rounds.
  • Carry out ad-hoc minor maintenance work, including painting, plumbing, drainage, general repairs, and 'make safe'.
Requirements:
  • Working understanding of hard and soft services.
  • Working understanding of electrics, plumbing, heating, HVAC, and air-con systems.
  • Understanding of permits to work.
  • Can-do attitude and willingness to get stuck in.
