Contract type: Permanent
Working pattern: Full-time, Monday-Friday 08:00am -16:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of warehouse operatives to ensure efficient daily operations.
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to implement health and safety best practices, reporting any issues or incidents.
- Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods, including accurate inventory management.
- Maintain warehouse accuracy through IT-generated stock checks and team member training.
- Monitor and improve warehouse processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Resolve team conflicts and issues.
- Liaise with external stakeholders on delivery times and dates.
Requirements:
- Excellent leadership skills with ability to lead a team.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Experience in Warehouse Management Systems.
- In-date Counterbalance license (desirable).
- Valid driving license (occasional driving may be necessary).
