Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our team. As an Account Director, you will have worked with leading consumer technology clients or large enterprise clients on key campaigns and be eager to direct and oversee communication campaigns, contributing to the overall success of the team and agency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out senior-level client handling with minimal day-to-day support from the Director or Associate Director
  • Develop and market Axicom products and services
  • Direct all account activity, focusing on the delivery of sound strategic ideas and the procurement of agreed results/targets
  • Demonstrate the ability to take a long-term outlook on a campaign and sector forecasting relevant challenges/opportunities and communicating a strategic point of view
  • Total client satisfaction achieved through management/utilization of all Axicom resources, introduction of additional specialisms where applicable, consistently excellent client service, and anticipating client needs
  • Drive strategic PR planning process, ensuring that plans integrate with other PR plans in the client organization, and proactively adapt plans to reflect changes to the business and market
  • Proactively craft and place stories, shape broad industry themes and storylines, and negotiate client inclusion in coverage
  • Manage client budgets and budget reporting, working closely with the Associate Director/Director
  • Revenue and profit margin targets met or exceeded through application of comprehensive, accurate budget construction, monitoring, and discipline
  • Take a proactive role in working on new business/existing client pitches/presentations, taking the lead in idea generation, research, and document writing
Requirements
  • Experience working with leading consumer technology clients or large enterprise clients on key campaigns
  • Eager to direct and oversee communication campaigns, contributing to the overall success of the team and agency
  • Ability to take a long-term outlook on a campaign and sector forecasting relevant challenges/opportunities and communicating a strategic point of view
  • Strong client-handling skills with minimal day-to-day support from the Director or Associate Director
  • Ability to develop and market Axicom products and services
  • Strong strategic PR planning skills, ensuring that plans integrate with other PR plans in the client organization

  • Strong budget management and reporting skills, working closely with the Associate Director/Director
