Main Responsibilities
- Examine, investigate, and treat patients with rheumatological conditions.
- Supervise and mentor junior doctors and specialist nurses to ensure high standards of care.
- Participate in clinical governance activities, including audit and research projects.
- Collaborate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Essential Criteria
- MBChB/MBBS or equivalent qualification.
- MRCP (or equivalent) and full registration with the General Medical Council.
- At least four years' full-time postgraduate training in a relevant specialty or equivalent experience and competencies.

- Higher degree (e.g., MD, PhD).
- Experience of leading teams and managing services.

- Experience of and enthusiasm for clinical teaching of postgraduate doctors and non-medical staff.

- Knowledge of audit principles and evidence of participation in and completion of audit projects.
