Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team at Huntress. As an Infrastructure Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for building and monitoring systems, responding to alerts and trouble tickets, and leading improvement initiatives within the technology infrastructure for the business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure Microsoft software, including SQL Server, Hyper V, IIS, and Remote Desktop Services
  • Maintain a variety of systems, including Windows VMs in Hyper V, Azure, and AWS
  • Respond to IT alerts and queries to ensure all IT issues are resolved quickly and efficiently
  • Troubleshoot customer issues using Remote Desktop Services
  • Ensure the smooth functioning of IT systems and enable business operations with high performance and reliability
  • Maintain access to customer systems, supporting internal users connecting via various systems
  • Investigate issues related to performance and stability of ITAS software running on customer infrastructure

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience supporting Windows Desktop and Server Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of Internet Information Services Management, IT infrastructure, and scripting languages
  • Experience building and documenting processes and workflows
  • Analytical, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem solver and self-motivated
