Job Title: Children and Young Peoples Team Leader

The Diocese of Guildford is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to lead our Youth Catalyst Project Team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of high-quality training and worship events for young people across the diocese.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage a team of professionals developing and delivering training and worship events for young people.
  2. Oversee the creation of effective digital discipleship and evangelism pathways for young people.
  3. Work closely with youth leaders across the diocese to develop and implement effective youth ministry strategies.
  4. Design and deliver high-quality worship training and events that establish and deepen the faith of young people.
  5. Manage budgets and resources for the team.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in missional youth ministry and working in a secondary school setting.
  2. Ability to host gatherings of young people and deliver Christian teaching.
  3. Experience of managing a team.
  4. Broad awareness of trends in youth culture.
  5. Good understanding of safeguarding practices.
  6. Source of expertise on youth ministry, keeping up to date with the latest research and best practices.
