About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Hartford Care Ltd as a Senior Day Care Assistant. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate individual who can provide high-quality care and support to our residents during the day.

As a Senior Day Care Assistant, you will lead the shift team and be responsible for creating a happy and caring atmosphere. You will also supervise care assistants, check activities logs, and give detailed handovers to ensure seamless communication.

To be successful in this role, you will need good team leading skills, a Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care, and a caring, warm, and understanding nature.

About the Salary

We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, paid in instalments throughout the year. This includes an attractive 000 attraction payment of £500 on joining and £500 on completing the probationary period.

The salary reflects the importance we place on our staff members' hard work and dedication to providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

About the Skills and Qualifications
  • Team Leading: Good team leading, delegation, and organisational skills are essential for this role. You will need to motivate and support your team to deliver high-quality care and support to our residents.
  • Qualifications: A completed or currently undertaking L3 NVQ/Diploma in Health and Social Care is required for this role. We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in health and social care principles.
  • Caring Nature: A caring, warm, and understanding nature is crucial for this role. You will need to demonstrate empathy and compassion when interacting with our residents and their families.
