Job Title: Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist

At Gibbs Gears, we are seeking a skilled Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Mechanical Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring our precision engineering operations meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct detailed inspections of components, including first-off, in-process, and final inspections following company procedures (QMWI, SOP, and APQP).
* Operate and program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) and other inspection tools to ensure precision in part measurements.
* Collaborate with colleagues to perform random checks, addressing any deviations promptly.
* Ensure compliance with Quality Management and industry standards through audits and by monitoring adherence to protocols.
* Produce and maintain detailed reports, including FAIR, PPAP, and ISIR, documenting any deviations and corrective actions.
* Provide mentoring and support to colleagues to uphold quality standards throughout production.
* Assist with incoming parts inspection and goods-inward processes as needed.

Compliance & Quality Reporting:

* Monitor strict compliance with processes, ensuring parts are produced according to engineering drawings and specifications.
* Identify and report any quality issues or deviations, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Requirements:
