About the Role

As a Domestic Assistant at GreenSquareAccord, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our residential care home, Amberwood. Your duties will include cleaning, dusting, polishing, vacuuming, and sanitizing all areas, as well as ensuring the upkeep of communal spaces. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining daily cleaning routines in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines.

About the Service

Amberwood is a state-of-the-art dementia-specialist residential care home based in Burton-on-Trent. As one of GreenSquareAccord's Dementia Centres of Excellence, it offers specialist care and support in first-class facilities for people living with dementia and complex needs. Your role will be to provide a warm and welcoming environment for our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to a high standard of hygiene practice
• Develop and maintain daily cleaning routines in accordance with Health and Safety guidelines
• Ensure the upkeep of communal spaces
• Communicate effectively with residents and colleagues to provide the highest level of service
• Work safely with chemicals and report any damaged equipment or building services
