About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 1 Driver to join our team at Allied Milling and Baking. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and collecting products from customers, suppliers, and other organizations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all legal requirements for HGV Drivers, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery process.
  • Drive Company vehicles to high standards of safety and courtesy, adhering to the Highway Code and Company standards.
  • Apply SAFED driving techniques to maximize levels of safety and fuel efficiency.
  • Comply with Company delivery and collection procedures, including picking from bulk order loads, order adjustments, and health and safety protocols.
  • Provide excellent customer service, adhering to Company standards.
  • Report any variations to required standards of product quality and service levels to the FLM immediately.
  • Follow Company standards and procedures for working with and accounting for Company products and equipment.
  • Comply with all Company requirements for Driver training and communications.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the Company, including unloading, refueling, and washing vehicles, in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Present a smart appearance.
