About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Special Education Support Assistant to join our team at a partner school in Bromley (BR4). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special education needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting academic and personal growth.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to implement effective strategies and Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Support the creation of a inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Monitor student progress and provide regular updates to teachers and SEN coordinators.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with SEN.
- Strong understanding of SEN practices and strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed.
