Smart Teachers is seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to join our team in a special school in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with severe and profound and multiple learning difficulties, including those with additional sensory and physical impairments.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the needs of students with special educational needs and be able to provide individualized support to promote their academic and personal growth. You will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to work effectively with teachers, other support staff, and students.

**Responsibilities:**
  • Supporting students with their educational and personal needs
  • Developing and delivering inclusive lessons that promote engagement and motivation
  • Working collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to create a positive and secure learning environment

**Requirements:**
  • Child and Adult DBS
  • A kind, caring, and compassionate nature
  • Experience working with students with special educational needs
