About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and caring SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in the heart of London.

Role Overview:

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH-related needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality support to students with diverse SEMH requirements
  • Liaising effectively with teaching staff, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure cohesive student support
  • Contributing to creating a safe and inclusive learning environment
  • Working with students across various year groups who have learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and Mental Health needs

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
  • Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs is highly beneficial
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and students
