Job Description

The Healthcare Support Professional will be responsible for undertaking health checks for patients with long-term conditions, completing NHS Health checks, carrying out routine observations, administering vaccinations and injections, and performing ECGs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Complete NHS Health checks for patients.
  • Carry out routine observations such as pulse, blood pressure, height, weight, BMI, smoking, and alcohol status.
  • Phlebotomy and diabetic foot checks for patients.
  • Administer flu vaccinations and vitamin B12 injections by Patient Specific Direction.
  • Perform ECGs for patients.
  • Support with minor surgery and coil contraceptive implant sessions.
Requirements

  • The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
