Job Title: Skilled Roadworker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled roadworker to join our team at the City of Edinburgh Council. As a skilled roadworker, you will play a key role in maintaining the city's road network, ensuring that our streets are safe and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out surfacing and slabbing/kerbing work in a roads environment
  • Work as part of a team to maintain the city's road network
  • Operate a range of equipment, including surfacing and kerbing machines
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety and quality
  • Develop and maintain your skills and knowledge to ensure you can undertake multiple different roads operations

Requirements:

  • Experience in surfacing and/or slabbing/kerbing in a roads environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to work at height and in confined spaces
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
