Clinical Professor of Trauma and Orthopaedics

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced clinical professor or clinical associate professor to join our team at the University of Warwick.
The successful candidate will be employed by the University of Warwick and will hold an Honorary Consultant contract with University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW).
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist services in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery
- Contribute to the development of research programmes in Discovery Science and Applied Health
- Collaborate with the Warwick Clinical Trials Unit to advance translational research
- Establish a productive, internationally recognized research program
The successful candidate will have substantial experience of research in clinical trials leading to impact and publication, and an outstanding track record of managing research teams working in the complex environment of health care.
They will also have an appropriate higher Trauma and Orthopaedic surgical qualification and be within six months of CCT date or equivalent at the point of interview.
Working EnvironmentThe role will be based at our purpose-built institute, dedicated to translational medicine, Clinical Sciences Research Laboratory (CSRL) at UHCW.
