Exciting Opportunity for SEN Teachers

We are seeking dedicated and passionate SEN Teachers to join our 'Good' rated Special Needs School in Cambridge. Our school prides itself on creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where every student can thrive and reach their full potential.

About the Role
  • Support and empower children and young people with special needs
  • Form positive working relationships with colleagues and students
  • Manage challenging situations with a calm and rational manner
  • Experience working with children and young people who have additional needs, including behaviour that is a barrier to their education
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
  • Proven experience in teaching at secondary level, preferably within special needs education
  • Sound knowledge of the UK national curriculum and relevant teaching methodologies for students with SEN
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patient, empathetic, and passionate about supporting students with special needs
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage time and resources
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one
