As a highly skilled Culinary Operations Manager at St Monica Trust, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences across our village café. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you can showcase your culinary expertise and passion for delivering high-quality services.

The successful candidate will manage the day-to-day food and beverage provision for the village café, including catering for bespoke events and themes. You will work closely with the Head Chef to ensure that our customers receive outstanding service and that our kitchen operations are efficient and effective.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Managing the day-to-day provision of food and beverages, ensuring that they meet the needs and preferences of our residents and customers.
  • Cooking and preparing food onsite, as well as finishing and serving food from our suppliers.
  • Catering for bespoke events and themes, including meals, parties, and other activities.
  • Engaging with residents and customers to understand their needs and preferences, and responding to feedback and suggestions.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Diploma Level 2 in Food Production/Catering or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of supervising others and managing teams.
  • Knowledge of special dietary requirements and modified diets, as well as experience of advising on nutrition, hydration, and dietary needs.
  • Previous experience working within a busy and fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

We offer a competitive salary of £26,208 - £29,484 per annum, plus benefits including 22.5 hours per week, weekend enhancements, 31 days holiday allowance, access to free gym and pool, generous pension, subsidised meals, discounts on shopping, on-site parking, and much more.
