Job Title: Data Support Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Support Analyst to join our team at Red - Specialist Recruitment. As a Data Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of EU MRV and IMO DCS data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and verify daily data submissions to Eco Insights container, correcting any errors or discrepancies.
  • Support the Energy Management & Data Lead in client reporting and data analysis.
  • Review and respond to Quarterly Shipboard Energy meeting minutes (SFTEC 30) within designated timeframe.
  • Promote energy awareness throughout the fleet, ensuring all employees are mindful of energy usage.
  • Collaborate with Fleet Groups to produce, review, and update Performance Dashboards.
  • Conduct Energy Management Familiarisation for new employees and Senior Officers during Induction Process.
  • Enroll vessels into ESI (Environmental Ship Index) to reduce port costs.
  • Prepare and submit SFENV 9 EU – CO2 Emissions Monitoring Plan and emissions reports for all qualifying voyages.
  • Review and submit aggregated annual report for IMO DCS through Lloyds CO2 verifier.
  • Assist with projects within the Operations team as required.
Requirements:
  • Fully completed Engineering cadetship and HND.
  • Previous seagoing experience within the shipping industry.
  • Technical Background.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS office products, specifically Word and Excel.
  • Experience analyzing complex data with a solution-driven mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
