Deaf Education Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deaf Education Specialist to join our team at RIBBONS AND REEVES.
Job DescriptionThis is an exciting opportunity to work with deaf children in accessing the curriculum as a specialist support worker. As a Deaf Education Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing strategies to assist with language difficulties and working collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals to create an inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities- Support deaf children in accessing the curriculum
- Implement strategies to assist with language difficulties
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other professionals
- A 2:1 Degree or higher from a top UK University
- British Sign Language Level 3 or above
- Experience supporting deaf children with language difficulties
- Committed to high student achievement and tailored educational opportunities for each child
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to work effectively in a team
- Inspire enthusiastic students eager to learn
- Work with a friendly and supportive team
- CPD opportunities to further your professional skillset
- A wonderful working environment with a Deaf ARP
- £27,855 - £29,139 Salary, Pro Rata, Term time only
