We are seeking an inspirational Deaf Communicator to join our dedicated team at a large Primary School in Barking & Dagenham. As a Deaf Communication Support Worker, you will have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children with hearing impairments.

About this role:

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting deaf children, particularly those with language difficulties, in their educational journey
  • Collaborating with a supportive and friendly team of professionals committed to collaborative working
  • Enhancing and growing your skills through Continued Professional Development (CPD) opportunities

Ambition is key in this role. We encourage individuals who are passionate about improving and expanding their own skills to apply. A 1:1 or 2:1 degree from a leading UK University is essential, along with British Sign Language Level 3 certification.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to join a dynamic team and contribute to the inclusive learning environment of the school. With a strong focus on supporting children with hearing impairments, you will be part of a rewarding experience that enhances the education and well-being of these students.

Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 per annum.
