Job Description:
We are seeking a Behaviour Support Specialist to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd. As a Behaviour Support Specialist, you will be working with students of secondary ages who have social, emotional, and mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support students with challenging behaviours in a specialist Pupil Referral Unit
- Work with students who have been referred to the unit due to various reasons, such as having an EHCP or being permanently excluded
- Assist students in accessing mainstream education
- Collaborate with the school team to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Provide emotional support and guidance to students
Requirements:
- Experience working with students with social, emotional, and mental health difficulties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage challenging behaviours
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with the school team
