Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to provide essential support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Classroom Support: Collaborate with teachers to provide individualized support and assistance to students with SEN, adapting learning materials and providing additional explanations as needed.
  • One-on-One Assistance: Offer focused support to individual students, guiding them to overcome challenges and thrive academically and socially.
  • Small Group Work: Facilitate small group activities, fostering collaboration and creating a supportive learning environment for students with SEN.
  • Behaviour Management: Employ effective strategies to promote positive behavior and create a calm and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
