Job Title: Production Artist

SGK, a global packaging and brand experience company, is seeking a skilled Production Artist to join their team. As a Production Artist, you will be responsible for creating artworks from design master files, Cascade documents, corporate guidelines, and briefs supplied, ensuring brand consistency and color application within all packaging technical restrictions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and create print-ready artwork from design files, corporate guidelines, print specifications, and briefs received.
  • Adhere to an artwork checklist, checking all artworks to ensure the highest possible standard.
  • Collaborate with the client's creative design team to maintain brand consistency and awareness.
  • Produce technically correct artwork ready for auto-reproduction, considering all aspects of packaging, including colors, varnishes, whites, printer specifications, and mark-up.
  • Work with the Studio Manager, internal creative artwork team, QA, and Pre-production to ensure consistent artwork across the account.
  • Stay up-to-date with master guidelines relevant to the client and ensure all ranges are consistent with masters/guidelines.
  • Meet deadlines for assigned clients in conjunction with the Production Manager.
  • Be proficient in relevant software and utilize the MIS and other required systems correctly.
  • Participate in the studio team, communicating well, and working towards a right-first-time approach.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Packaging designer/artworker.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Confidence to work on a variety of briefs and resolve any issues.
  • Accuracy and high levels of attention to detail.
