Production Artist

SGK, a global packaging and brand experience company, is seeking a skilled Production Artist to join our team. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality artworks from design master files, corporate guidelines, and briefs supplied.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop print-ready artwork from design files, corporate guidelines, and print specifications.
  • Ensure the highest possible standard by adhering to an artwork checklist.
  • Maintain brand consistency and design awareness, supporting the client's creative design team.
  • Produce technically correct artwork ready for auto repro, considering all aspects of packaging, including colours, varnishes, whites, and printer specifications.
  • Collaborate with the Studio Manager, internal creative artwork team, QA, and Pre-production to ensure consistent artwork quality across accounts.
  • Stay up-to-date with master guidelines relevant to assigned clients and ensure all ranges are consistent with masters/guidelines.
  • Meet deadlines for assigned clients in conjunction with the Production Manager.
  • Utilize relevant software and MIS systems correctly.
  • Participate in the studio team, communicating effectively and working towards a right-first-time approach.
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Packaging designer/artworker.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Organisational skills.
  • Confidence to work on a variety of briefs and resolve any issues.
  • Accuracy and high levels of attention to detail.
