CBW Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Westminster, London. This exciting opportunity offers a temp-to-perm position with a competitive hourly rate of up to £24.00 per hour.

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of a commercial building. You will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance tasks across various systems, including electrical, mechanical, and plumbing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on lighting systems, emergency lighting, AHU/FCU units, control panels, and BMS systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, and plumbing fixtures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities in logbooks.
  • Collaborate with the on-site maintenance team to ensure efficient building operations.
Requirements:
  • Hold a relevant trade qualification such as City & Guilds Level 2&3 in Electrical, Mechanical, or Plumbing (17th/18th Edition for electrical qualifications).
  • Possess a proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Demonstrate strong multi-skilled capabilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
