Job Title: Bid Writer

Madisons Recruitment is seeking a skilled Bid Writer to join our client's team on a permanent basis in Billericay, Essex.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Bid Writer to prepare and submit proposals, tenders, and bids to potential clients within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights for bid proposals
  • Develop clear, concise, and persuasive content tailored to each bid opportunity
  • Ensure all bid submissions are completed accurately and within specified deadlines
  • Review and edit proposal responses to meet client requirements
  • Maintain a database of past bid submissions and templates for future use
  • Coordinate with the sales and project management teams to align bid strategies
Requirements
  • Proven experience in bid writing within the construction industry
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management abilities
  • Experience within the public sector and social housing market
  • Preferably a mechanical and electrical background
