Job Title: Learning and Development Co-ordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Learning and Development Co-ordinator to join our team at Lane Clark & Peacock. As a key member of our Learning and Development team, you will play a vital role in the development and delivery of learning programmes across the firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Graduate soft skills programme, ensuring its structure and logistics are well-coordinated and the content is effectively communicated to graduates.
  • Become proficient in the use of our learning management system (LMS) and take responsibility for specialist areas, such as Graduate training. Develop content and continuously improve processes.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key contacts across the firm to provide an advisory, consulting service on training requirements.
  • Coordinate specific learning interventions, working closely with the Head of Central L&D, such as speaking clubs. Regularly review and update these initiatives to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Take ownership of specific training programmes, such as new people manager training. Collaborate with the Head of Central L&D and the wider business to explore opportunities for growth and development.
  • Assist with LCP Xtra, handling logistics and actively engaging with delegates, judges, mentors, and programme leaders.
  • Delegate tasks and provide support to the L&D Assistant as needed, ensuring all offerings are cohesive and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date on internal and external developments and be open to new initiatives for the department.
  • Be adaptable and willing to take on a variety of tasks and projects, responding to the evolving needs of Lane Clark & Peacock.
Requirements:
  • Confidence and ability to build relationships across the firm, liaising, advising, and consulting with key stakeholders.
  • Technical aptitude, with previous experience using an LMS or HRMS, and strong Excel skills.
  • A willingness to continuously review and improve our approaches and processes.
  • Able to identify creative solutions and adopt a flexible approach to problem-solving, meeting the needs of key stakeholders.
  • A professional, positive attitude and ability to take initiative.
  • An interest in how Learning & Development can add value to Lane Clark & Peacock.
  • Able to work effectively in a team and independently, with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Well-organized, able to follow processes, and demonstrate attention to detail in work.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible, and resilient, with the ability to cope under pressure and manage a fluctuating workload.
