About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Camp Manager to join our team at Camp Beaumont. As a key member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional day camp programs for children aged 3-14.

As a Deputy Camp Manager, you will support the Camp Manager in running a multi-activity day camp during summer and school holiday weekdays. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing essential support to the Camp Manager in ensuring the smooth operation of the camp
  • Working closely with the management team to contribute to the overall success of our camps
  • Ensuring staff members are fully equipped to deliver exceptional and fun experiences for the children
  • Communicating effectively with parents and other departments

We are looking for someone with a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. If you have experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team, we would love to hear from you.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Over 18 years old
  • Availability to work during school holidays
  • UK/EU citizenship with the right to work in the UK
  • Experience working in a childcare setting and managing a small team
  • Possess bags of energy and enthusiasm
  • Passionate about working with children
  • High level of safeguarding awareness
  • Paediatric first aid is desirable
  • A level 3 childcare qualification/PGCE is desirable
