Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, with experience in large-scale infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for ensuring quality assurance of on-site activities, dimensional verification, and quality control activities.

About the Job:

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will work closely with the project team to implement quality assurance activities and ensure compliant works. You will also be responsible for assisting in the implementation of Mace's quality management procedures and safety procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support the Senior Leadership Team in planning, delivery, monitoring, and commissioning of the programme.
  • Assist the Head of Assurance in ensuring compliance with DRDL, CDM 2015, and ONR policies.
  • Oversee the Verification and Quality Assurance Teams in monitoring and assurance of project processes.
  • Conduct relevant audits to ensure project compliance.
  • Create and deliver the Project Integrated Assurance and Approvals Plan (PIAAP).

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification in civil engineering - HND, HNC, or bachelor's degree.
  • First aid training.
  • Experience in nuclear and defence.
  • Formal auditor training course.
  • Line management experience.
  • Quality assurance experience.
  • Quality management system experience.

The estimated salary for this role is £50,000-£70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
