We are a primary care network in Cambridgeshire, seeking a newly qualified GP to join our team as a salaried associate for six months. The post holder will work across our six practices, supporting projects focusing on frailty and other community health initiatives.

About the Role:
  • To work with older people in surgeries and out in the community, including care homes, providing comprehensive healthcare services.
  • To develop close relationships with surgery teams, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
  • Making professional decisions regarding presenting problems, utilizing expertise to inform treatment plans.
  • Assessing patient health needs and screening for disease risk factors, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Monitoring medication and assessing treatment requirements, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Liaising daily with staff, promoting counselling and health education to patients and carers.
  • To develop networks and understand local resources for navigating the health and social care system, enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Promoting and safeguarding vulnerable adults' welfare, adhering to relevant policies and guidelines.

The estimated salary for this role is £72,500 per annum, considering experience and qualifications. Flexible working arrangements are available, with variable session numbers (4-6) and a start date as soon as possible.
