Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Human Resource Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with various HR-related tasks, including employment contracts, temporary contracts, probation period reviews, and recruitment processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with employment contracts, confirmation letters, and related administrative tasks.
  • Support temporary contracts, inform managers, and chase accordingly.
  • Contribute to probation period reviews, appraisals, and related administrative tasks.
  • Participate in HR-related projects, provide assistance, views, and feedback when required.
  • Update and maintain the staff database, providing statistical HR reports when needed.
  • Monitor and maintain HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and efficiency of HR systems and strategies.
  • Assist with recruitment processes, including advertising, selection interviews, and administrative tasks.
  • Support exit interviews, reference requests, and other HR-related tasks.
  • Act in accordance with P&O Ferrymasters' policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong team player with a proactive attitude.
  • Living in the Ipswich area, with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
