Role Overview

Roke is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our team. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in gathering and analysing financial information to support business planning and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out internal and Group reporting procedures
• Support budgeting process
• Cash management and forecasting for the business
• Evaluate the company's performance using key data
• Oversee tax related issues at the company and liaise with other stakeholders on tax matters
• Calculate research & development tax credit for company
• Support Reporting Business Partner in any areas that are required
• Advise on problems and suggest improvements
• Supervise lower-level personnel

Requirements

• Proven experience as management accountant, finance professional or similar role
• Solid knowledge of basic and advanced accounting and financial principles and practices
• Excellent knowledge of accounting and reporting
• Excellent knowledge of budgeting and forecasting
• Working knowledge of ERP software (ideally SAP or IFS) and MS Office
• Analytical mind with aptitude in maths
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• A problem-solver with attention to detail
• Relevant certification CIMA or ACA) or working towards one
