The Opportunity

We are seeking world-class Mechanical Engineers to join our dynamic team at Shaily R&D Studio. As a member of our team, you will engage in a mix of consultancy projects for top-tier clients and internal projects aimed at developing cutting-edge intellectual property. This role is not just about engineering; it's also about contributing to our ambitious growth plans and shaping the future of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop medical devices and other complex products
  • Work on diverse and challenging projects that push the boundaries of medical device design and development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in our beautiful, fully equipped design studio in Leamington Spa
  • Manage both technical and commercial aspects of projects, along with your workload and that of your team
  • Develop and mentor junior colleagues, contributing to their training and recruitment
Requirements
  • Hold a First or Upper Second Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject from a leading engineering university
  • Bring experience in medical device design and development with a track record of successful product launches
  • Demonstrate a can-do mindset, flexibility, quick learning abilities, and excellent communication skills
  • Forge strong relationships with clients and lead and work effectively with global, multidisciplinary teams
