About the Role

JAM Recruitment is working with a leading Medical Device business to find two Senior Mechanical Engineers to join their team.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced Mechanical Engineers to take a leading role in the identification, analysis, and specification of design improvement projects and NPD projects. You will work with internal project teams and external design partners to solve complex problems and deliver mechanical systems designs that meet both regulatory and stakeholder needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of complex electro-mechanical systems and machinery
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver mechanical systems designs that meet regulatory and stakeholder requirements
  • Work with external design partners to solve complex problems and deliver innovative solutions
  • Contribute to the development of design improvement projects and NPD projects

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a mechanical design role, preferably in the medical device industry
  • Strong understanding of SolidWorks and other design software
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects
