About the Role

We are seeking a GenAI/data scientist to contribute to our AI innovation team, focusing on experimenting, optimising and applying off-the-shelf generative AI models to extract valuable insights from large-scale patent datasets and enhance our search and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and deploy pipelines utilising generative AI models to enhance patent search and analytics applications.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, product teams, and stakeholders across different geographies to drive innovation through large language models and advanced AI methodologies.
  • Perform continuous evaluations and improvements of models to handle large volumes of patent data.
  • Develop and implement machine learning workflows, focusing on the integration of generative AI with existing data infrastructure.
  • Develop scalable solutions, focusing on large-scale data processing, using Python, SQL, PySpark and related technologies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate 3+ years of experience in data science, with a focus on natural language processing, generative AI and large language models.
  • Proficiency in Python and experience working with transformer-based large language models and NLP frameworks.
  • Knowledge of prompt engineering, RAG techniques and various evaluation methodologies for integrating generative AI with search/retrieval systems.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP for machine learning workflows.
  • Understanding of data engineering pipelines and distributed data processing.
