This role is 40% hands-on, 60% hands-off.

As a key member of our dynamic team of AI Scientists, you will be working on high-impact, AI-driven machine learning models to drive innovation in the BioTech space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a small team to design and build models across LLMs, GenAI, and NLP with some in Computer Vision.
  • Drive best practices, code reviews, and coding when needed, remaining about 40% hands-on.
  • Advise the VP of AI on the latest AI and LLM-driven solutions.
  • Work alongside technical and non-technical stakeholders, creating insights and reports on key findings.
  • Drive the latest innovative research in AI, building and deploying core projects onto our AI-driven platforms.
  • Opportunity to grow and develop, building out a team.

Requirements:

Required

  • MSc or PhD in STEM/AI related subject.
  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and DevOps & CI/CD.
  • Hands-on experience in LLMs is required.
  • Background in HealthTech, BioTech, or PharmaTech is a large benefit but otherwise any tech company working on AI projects.
  • Excellent communication skills with proven experience working with stakeholders.
  • Research/Academic background is a big bonus too.
  • Experience mentoring/upskilling/managing is required.
