Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead and line manage a team of developers, performing 1-2-1s, identifying training needs, and managing professional progression.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other Development Team Leads to drive performance and engagement throughout the development teams, and facilitate career pathing and progression.
- Technical Guidance: Provide technical and process guidance to ensure sound application design and quality practices are followed.
- Customer Liaison: Direct liaison with customers to provide technical consultation and guidance, working alongside Business Development Managers, Business Analysts, and Account Managers during workshops and other customer meetings.
- Project Development: Assist and support BAs to produce solution designs for customer projects, as required.
- Technical Strategy: Participate in the development of the technical strategy in collaboration with key colleagues.
- Quality Assurance: Drive quality and set realistic expectations within your projects, and contribute to core product development.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast with technical development and trends, and actively share your knowledge with the wider 15below Developer community.
- Experience: A minimum of 10 years software development experience, with experience in managing, leading, or coaching team members.
- Technical Skills: Excellent software development skills, including C#, SQL, XSLT, Web Api, MVC, and.NET Framework, as well as experience in the design and implementation of services using WCF or other service-oriented technologies.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in providing technical guidance to other Developers and the wider team, and excellent communication skills with the ability to work closely with external stakeholders.
- Education: BSc in Computer Science or similar.
- MS SQL Server 2019: Experience with MS SQL Server 2019.
- Messaging Systems: Experience of messaging systems, such as RabbitMQ.
- Cross-Browser Development: Experience and proficiency with cross-browser, cross-platform development.
- Change Management: Experience with Change Management processes.
- High-Performance Software: Experience of writing high-performance software, including threading and async IO.
