Your primary focus will be to support the Head Housekeeper in providing a laundering service, ensuring all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition. This will involve carrying out all laundering duties, understanding wash guide instructions, and practicing safe systems of work.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out all laundering duties, including washing, drying, and ironing.
- Understand and follow wash guide instructions to ensure the correct laundering of various textiles.
- Practice safe systems of work, particularly when moving and handling loads, to ensure personal safety and the safety of residents, visitors, and staff.
- Contribute fully to teamwork, responding positively to colleagues and promptly acting on all reasonable work instructions.
To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a positive attitude towards residents, compassion, and commitment to delivering high-quality laundry services. You should have experience working in a similar setting or a hotel, and be able to demonstrate understanding of the laundering requirements applicable to various textiles.
