Premises Maintenance Specialist

About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Premises Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for maintaining the security and upkeep of our school premises.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the school buildings to a satisfactory condition, including effecting minor repairs and improvements.
  • Ensuring the buildings and site are left in a secure situation when directed to open and lock-up the school site.
  • Undertaking repairs and DIY projects within budgetary constraints set by the Premise Manager.
  • Operating and maintaining appropriate site security systems.
Requirements:
  • Basic training or sound experience of general maintenance and DIY.
  • Awareness of the need for strict hygiene and cleaning standards.
  • Understanding that the needs and safety of pupils and staff are a priority.
